Florida Dental CE Core Requirements
The Florida Board of Dentistry requires the following core CE courses:
- 2 hours of Medical Errors (required each renewal)
- 2 hours of Domestic Violence (required every 6 years)
- 2 hours of HIV/AIDS (required for first-time renewal only)
- 2 hours of Safe & Effective Prescription of Controlled Substances (required for dentists who prescribe)
- 1 hour of Florida Laws and Rules
- This bundle only contains the Core Requirement CEs. Additional General CE Hours may still be required for full license renewal.
Deadline: All CEs must be completed and reported to CE Broker by February 28th of every even-numbered year.
