The New Hampshire Board of Mental Health Practice requires Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs), and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to complete:
40 Total CE Hours + Core Requirements:
• Every renewal: 6 hours in Ethics (Ethics for Mental Health and Substance Abuse Professionals)
• Note: A maximum of 20 hours may be completed through online courses. The remaining hours must be completed in-person or via board-accepted live formats.
Deadline: All CEs must be completed by the license issue date every two years.
